This timber conservatory had a roof which had reached the end of its life whilst the side frames were still in good condition; a common problem with timber roofs owing to the high maintenance required to prevent them from deterioration.
The customer required a low maintenance replacement roof which we fulfilled by installing a Global roof system made from aluminium with a PVC covering. The design of the conservatory also incorporated a box gutter which had previously been lead lined, this was removed and replaced with an aluminium box gutter which was a structural part of the new roof therefore requiring little maintenance.
